A Portfolio Site For Sonia Gehlot's Studio

The client
Sonia Gehlot is an architect and the founder of Architecture & Beyond. Her studio wanted a site that shows its built work the way the studio presents it, and that her own team could keep current without calling a developer.
What we did
- Built soniagehlot.com around the projects, with a gallery for each one, from Coonoor and the Lake House to Samalka Estate and the Healing Centre, and a full-screen photo viewer.
- Grouped the studio's unbuilt work under "Unbuilt Visions", the studio's own name for it.
- Gave the studio itself room: an About page in its "Order & Whimsy" voice, a Studio page with The Archive, Studio Cabin and Studio Commons, behind-the-scenes photos and the GoodHomes India press feature.
- Added the light jazz track Sonia chose as background music, with a speaker icon to mute it.
- Put the content in an admin panel, so the studio team edits the write-ups, the Studio and Services pages and the contact details, and drags projects into order.
Where it stands
The site went live on soniagehlot.com on 13 September 2026, about nine weeks after the studio first got in touch, on the studio's own Cloudflare account.
