A New Site For NYNJ Sound, Live In 11 Days

The client

NYNJ Sound is Larry Kaltenbach's location sound business, working with film and video crews across New York and New Jersey. His site was twelve years old, and an older domain, stonetowermedia.com, still carried some of his search history.

What we did

• Rebuilt nynjsound.com as a fast static site on Cloudflare, with a simple editor so Larry can update his portfolio himself.
• Moved all eight portfolio videos from the old site, putting the four most recent on the homepage.
• Kept stonetowermedia.com redirecting to the new site so its old links still count.
• Launched on a staging address first, took two rounds of Larry's revision notes, and switched the live domain over on 21 August 2026.
• Walked him through verifying a Google Business Profile as a service business working from a home address.

Where it stands

The new site went live on 21 August 2026, twelve days after Larry first got in touch, and scores 96 for mobile performance on Google PageSpeed.
