443 Enquiries in a Month for a Geosynthetic Manufacturing Business
443 Enquiries
In August 2022, Ocean Global, a geosynthetic manufacturer, came to us with a slow website, flat organic traffic and advertising that was not returning its cost. This case study covers what we changed and what it produced: SEO work across technical performance, content and links, and 443 enquiries in a single month.
Challenges Faced
Ocean Global had four problems at once: a website that performed badly, organic traffic that had stopped growing, advertising that was not paying for itself, and a crowded market of established competitors.
1. Suboptimal Website Performance
The site loaded slowly, navigated awkwardly and handled phones badly. Indexing and crawlability were also poor, so search engines were not reaching much of the content in the first place.
2. Dwindling Organic Traffic
Ocean Global was well known in its industry and almost invisible in search. Keywords had never been targeted deliberately and pages were not optimised for them, so traffic stayed flat regardless of the company's offline reputation.
3. Inefficient ROAS
paid advertising campaigns were absorbing real budget and returning too few leads to justify it. That made the case for building organic visibility instead of buying every enquiry.
4. Competitive Landscape
The geosynthetic market has established manufacturers and a steady flow of new entrants competing for the same searches. Fixing the technical problems alone would not have been enough to stand out, so the work also had to establish Ocean Global as a credible authority in the niche.
Strategy Implemented
We built one strategy across three areas: the technical state of the site, the content on it, and the links pointing at it.
1. Technical Revamp
We rebuilt the site's technical foundation around Core Web Vitals, which covers loading speed, mobile rendering and the interaction delays Google measures.

Google Lighthouse Score: Desktop
2. Content Optimization
We wrote content and product pages targeted at what the industry actually searches for, mapped to real keywords instead of to product names alone.
3. Off-page SEO Prioritization
We ran outreach and link building to earn backlinks from authoritative sources in the sector.
Results Achieved
The work produced measurable change across leads, reach and engagement.
1. 443 Enquiries In A Single Month
443 enquiries in a single month, across website forms, WhatsApp and calls. The site now has 2,159 keywords in Google’s top 10, 1,142 of them in the top three.
2. Global Expansion and Traffic Surge
Organic traffic grew in India and in the United States, Poland, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, widening the client base beyond the home market.
3. Unprecedented Bounce Rate Reduction
Bounce rate fell below 10%.
Conclusion
The same three problems show up on most industrial manufacturers' websites: pages that load slowly, content written for the company instead of for search, and no link authority behind either. If that sounds familiar, get in touch.
